Happy Anniversary!

19 Nov

Five years ago today, my first novel, Daughter of the Goddess Lands was published on Amazon.  It’s been an amazing journey since then.  I’d like to thank everyone who has purchased, read, reviewed or just enjoyed any of the now eight titles I have out there.

I’d also like to ask for patience, as my current project–a Civil War time travel novel–is going to take at least another year to finish.

Lastly, I’d like to ask anyone in the UK for help in solving a mystery: why is From the Ashes selling so well there?  It’s outselling all my books in the U.S.  So how does that work?

Thanks again to everyone reading this post.

i recently purchased here in UK books 2 and 3 from prehistoric epic, but i cannot locate a paperback copy anywhere, other than via amazon via USA at a phenomenal postage rate making it totally unaccessible, why is it no longer available here other than kindle ? i dont have kindle, dont really want one and much prefer a paper book in my hands.

I am reading From the Ashes with great interest – I am not surprised it is selling well here in Britain (we are in Scotland) as the SS-GB TV adaptation of the Len Deighton novel is on BBC at the moment. The whole question of Britain’s relationship with the rest of Europe is hugely topical because of the referendum to leave the EU. I recently read a couple of other what-if-Hitler had won novels and only found out about yours because amazon put it up as an option to consider on my kindle. On a small matter of grammar, you have a sentence in the opening chapter with Adolf asking are all fathers bastards – you have an apostrophe in father’s which should be removed.
Looking forward to reading the rest, all the best, Nicholas Leonard
